Carb possibilities with two meals
First, describe an example meal for each carb type (fast, moderate, slow). Then you can see a “what if I eat again now?” curve using the same patterns. Educational only — not for dosing decisions.
Example meal for each carb type (first meal)
For each carb type, use one real meal where that carb type dominated and insulin changes around the meal were small. The graph will try to follow those patterns.
| Carb type | Grams of carbs | Starting BG | Peak BG | Minutes to peak |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fast | ||||
| Moderate | ||||
| Slow |
Enter starting BG, peak BG, and time to peak (plus grams) for at least one carb type, then update the graph.
Optional extra BG points from the first meal
If you have more CGM readings from the same meal, add them as “minutes after eating” and BG. The graph will connect these points to follow your data more closely.
What if I eat again now?
Once you’ve filled in at least one row above, use this to see a second curve for “eating again now” based on the same carb behavior.
If you enter this, the summary will estimate a peak BG (current BG + modeled rise from this new meal).
The pink “eat again now” curve will follow the first-meal curve up to this time, then branch off using the new meal you entered above.
Show curves on the graph:
